Grief

Grief is the normal and natural reaction to loss.  The Grief Recovery Method® defines grief as “the conflicting group of human emotions caused by the end of, or change in, a familiar pattern of behaviour.”  There are over 40 loss experiences – including death, divorce, pet loss, and various other losses – that can create feelings of grief.  Often, we have not been able to complete the relationship with the pain and undelivered communications caused by an emotional loss.

The Grief Recovery Method® will provide you the tools you need to heal your heart and feel complete again.  This is an action-oriented program that will allow you to examine your personal beliefs about grief, identify your past losses, and guide you in completing a set of actions that will enable you to move forward in your life with hope. This program is designed to be completed in 7-8 sessions; however, since everyone’s grief is unique, you may require more than 8 weeks to complete the program.
